The exhibition took place in the Waldstein Riding School in Lesser Town in Prague from November 15 2007 to March 02 2008. The design of the exposition was inspired by the geometrical accidence of baroque gardens. The arrangement of panels in the main place of the Waldstein Riding School creates an ornament formed from repetitious L-shaped panels. The main perspective and communication axis goes through the middle of the space.
Wiew-throughs were left in a few places. Thereby the exhibition nad the exhibits were interconnected to the real baroque-solved space.
The concept of the exhibition was divided into 4 divisions. The first three were placed into the main space of the riding school and the fourth division – Bestia Vixit, which was understood as the representation of the influence of Waldstein´s personality over the next historic eras, was placed in the mezzanine, from where the visitor could overlook the whole exhibition and metaphorically also the intersection of Waldsteins life. This view was offered at the end of the exhibition and the visitor could see the upper plan of the panels associating the structure of the italian baroque garden.
The project was awarded a prize of the Czech ICOM Committee in GLORIA MUSEALIS 2007 competition
